Expansion of the New Generation Taylor Grand Auditoriums

Taylor is introducing a new batch of nextgeneration Grand Auditorium models. Under the name “Next Generation Grand Auditoriums: A New Wave”, three major innovations are now available across a wider range of instruments: Scalloped VClass Bracing, Action Control Neck, and Claria System Electronics.

The upgraded models
At the recent NAMM Show, these innovations were already presented on selected Grand Auditorium modelsfrom the 300, 400 and 800 Series. They are now being extended to higherend models within the Grand Auditorium segment: the Taylor K24ce, Taylor 714, and Taylor 514ce.

Scalloped VClass® Bracing
This bracing has been specially designed to produce warmer bass frequencies, greater projection, and richeropenstring resonance, while preserving clarity and tonal accuracy. As chief designer Andy Powers puts it: “It’s like combining the lowend warmth of traditional flattops with the strong mid and high frequencies of VClass.”

Action Control Neck™
This neck design first appeared in the Gold Label Collection of 2025, and is now also featured on the 700, 500 and K24 Series. It is a patented design that allows for quick and precise adjustment of the string action. The longtenon neck joint increases the woodtowood contact between neck and body, resulting in greater sustain, warmth and resonance.

Claria™ System Electronics
Claria is also patented. It features a preamp designed to soften the harshness often associated with traditional pickup systems. The controls are mounted inside the soundhole, allowing you to adjust volume and tone easily. The versatile midcontour knob ensures a consistent, adaptable sound in any playing environment.
