The 2813 are flatwound bass strings by Ernie Ball. Ernie Ball is an American company that produces very popular strings. Consequently, they have a wide variety of different types of strings, different materials, and either roundwound or flatwound. Flatwound means that the wrapping ware is flat as opposed to round.
