Hardware

As expected from Boss, the Gigcaster 5 is a sturdy mixer built with a durable housing. Its compact size makes it only slightly larger than an A5 sheet of paper. On the top, you’ll find all the controls, including gain sliders, mute buttons, a master volume slider, and a large 4.3-inch touchscreen display. On the sides, there are 2 XLR inputs for microphones and 2 stereo line inputs for musical instruments. The Gigcaster also features a USB-C port for power and data transfer, as well as Bluetooth for quick music streaming. In short, this mixer has everything you need!

Amazing Sound, Plug and Play

What makes the Gigcaster so special compared to other mixers is the large number of settings for bass, guitar, and vocals. For (bass) guitar, it offers a wide range of effects and internal amplifiers directly taken from the acclaimed Boss GT-1000. Thanks to this, external amplifiers and pedalboards are unnecessary for livestreaming – a true plug and play experience! Additionally, hundreds of vocal effects from their popular VE series are built in. All of these can be easily adjusted using the touchscreen, or with a GA-FC footswitch.
