The Boss Katana Series

The Boss Katana 50 MkII EX is part of Boss’ Katana series. This series is named after the traditional Japanese sword: the katana. This symbol shows the combination of traditional craftsmanship and innovation. Within this series Boss develops versatile and powerful amps for a relatively low price. The Katana series stands next to the Waza Craft series, which means that the most innovative technology has been used. The amps contains several effects, which means these amps are ideal for the musician that likes to play different styles.

The Boss Katana 50 MkII EX

The Katana 50 MkII EX is an expanded version of the Katana 50 MkII. The amp is just as compact and transportable as the 50 MkII but is more versatile and better suited for gigs. The amp contains a line output with which the amp can be directly connected to a PA-system. Furthermore, you can add a second Katana MkII amp with the Stereo Expand function. The Katana 50 MkII EX has moreover more effects and functions. The amp has five different amplifier options (Clean, Crunch, Lead, Brown, and Acoustic) and the effects are adjustable with the Boss Tone Studio. There are also five different effects sections: Booster, Mod, FX, Delay, and Reverb. You can also connect the amp directly to your computer for easier recording.
