Fender
Fender is a company founded in America in 1946 by Clarence Leonidas 'Leo' Fender. Initially, the company, known for the Telecaster and Stratocaster, only produced the Telecaster and Precision Bass. However, the Jazz Bass was added in 1960. Today, Fender produces a wide variety of high-quality guitars and basses. As a result, they remain one of the most popular manufacturers on the string instrument market.
The Player Series
Fender developed the Player series for beginning musicians and musicians with a low budget. Made in Mexico instead of America, Fender Player guitars and basses meet all of Fender's standards. The instruments are therefore also suitable for recording and performing. So they are cheaper versions of the popular (bass) guitars from Fender. So they sound and play like Fender guitars. However, Fender has ensured that they are very versatile models, so no specific adjustments have been made to the models to make them unique or special. All models have Alnico elements and are available in many colours.
The Player Jazz Bass
The Fender Player Jazz Bass is the ideal Jazz Bass, as it has all the standard elements of a Fender quality Jazz Bass. The body is made of alder and has a glossy finish, making it sturdy and professional looking. The neck and fingerboard are made of maple wood. This is a high-quality tonewood and has a good playing experience. In addition, the neck has a satin finish, so that it glides smoothly through the hand. The frets are a 'Medium Jumbo' size and the neck is 34 inches long. The bass guitar has two Alnico single-coil pickups. Single-coil pickups are very versatile and also provide that punchy and clarified sound. The elements can be adjusted with the two volume knobs and the master knob. In short, a good bass guitar for a great price!
