Silent System?

Would you like this beautiful Schimmel piano to be equipped with a Silent System? This is certainly possible, and we offer two options. The first option is the Schimmel Twintone Silent System, which is designed by Schimmel itself and installed at the factory in Braunschweig. As a second option, you can choose the Excellent AdSilent2 system, which is installed by our own piano technicians. We offer particularly attractive bundle discounts when a Silent System is purchased in combination with a piano.

What is a Silent System?

A Silent System allows you to play your acoustic piano using headphones, while remaining completely silent to your surroundings. When the system is activated, a built-in rail prevents the hammers from striking the strings, so no acoustic sound is produced. Each key is equipped with sensors that translate the touch into a digital sound, which is then heard through the headphones. This allows you to enjoy hours of piano playing at times when it may be less appreciated by those around you.
