Johannus One - Used  

The Johannus One is a portable classical organ that packages the characteristic Johannus sound into a practical and portable keyboard. The keyboard features full classical organ functionality and is ideally suited as an accompaniment instrument for church music groups. It is easy to move and transport, making it perfect for playing at different venues. As a result, the One is a familiar sight among choirs, while also being an excellent choice for home use where space is extremely limited.

 

The Johannus One has been designed from the organist’s perspective and is, above all, a genuine classical keyboard. This becomes apparent through its eighty unique classical voices, divided across five sound styles, each offering 16 stops. American, English, French, German and the integrated specification provide a variety of sound styles, allowing the instrument to be tailored to personal tonal preferences. The audio quality of the built-in speakers is exceptionally high. The One is far more than just a keyboard, as it provides the feeling of sitting behind a real organ while playing. This experience is further enhanced by the integrated reverb programme. With seven different reverb types, the instrument can sound as though it is placed in a wide range of acoustic environments, from a small rustic chapel to a grand cathedral. The Johannus One delivers an immersive sound experience.

 

The versatility of the One makes it ideal for choirs and music groups. In addition to its classical functions, it is equipped with a selection of high-quality solo and orchestral voices. Strings, flute, violin, piano, harp, harpsichord and trumpet sounds are all included. These voices can be used individually as accompaniment instruments or combined with classical organ stops for even greater musical flexibility.

The keyboard of the Johannus One consists of 76 touch-sensitive keys. The key action feels realistic and contributes to the authentic playing experience of a classical organ. It is even possible to recreate the feel of two manuals and a pedalboard. Thanks to the split function, the keyboard can be divided into two manuals and a pedal section. This is unique, as it effectively allows you to play a fully featured classical organ.

 

A wide range of accessories is available for the Johannus One. The keyboard can be placed on various stands, such as a Roland X-stand or a Roland Z-stand. Optional pedals can be connected to the rear of the One, including an EV-5 volume pedal or, for piano playing, a DP-10 sustain pedal. If you wish to play quietly without disturbing others, a set of headphones can be connected. We recommend models such as the Roland RH-5 or RH-200.
