Sound experience of the Johannus Opus 250
With a Johannus Opus 250 you have an authentic organ sound in your home with which you can vary endlessly! The organ is equipped with detailed, flawless samples created using Real Time Sampling technology. OranjeCore technology, developed in-house by Johannus, ensures purity and authenticity with every touch. The experience is so realistic that it can be said that an Opus organ brings a pipe organ into your living room.
The Opus 250 features an extensive disposition with 36 voices. All these voices can be used in four different sound styles: romantic, symphonic, baroque and historic. This allows you to match the organ's timbre to your personal preference or to the works of your favourite composer. The current series of Opus models also includes the Johannus Opus 350, an organ with three manuals and a slightly more extensive disposition.
An extensive reverb programme allows you to apply 12 different reverbs to the sound. This allows the Opus to sound like an organ standing in a rustic chapel as much as an organ standing in a grand cathedral.
Why an Opus?
The audio quality of the Opus can be described as very high quality. With a powerful 490-watt amplifier system consisting of five independent amplifiers, the organ is capable of bringing deep bass sounds into your living room in a natural way. Of course, it is also possible to play the organ with quality headphones, we recommend, for example, the Roland RH-200 or the Ultrasone Pro400.
If we compare the Opus organs with, say, a cheaper Studio 150, the difference is noticeable in the cabinet. The Opus250 features a beautiful solid cabinet designed in such a way that it can be placed in almost any interior. The organ is marked by clean lines and fits right into the era of modern-looking organs. As standard, it comes in plain oak. For € 245,- extra, the organ can be delivered in any colour from the Johannes Beit collection.
The Opus also stands out in terms of its audio system. With a powerful 490-watt amplifier system consisting of five independent amplifiers, the organ is able to deliver deep bass sounds in a natural way in your living room.
