The Kala Surf Series Concert Ukulele is built in the popular concert size, offering an excellent balance of comfort, sound and playability. Compared to a soprano model, a concert ukulele delivers slightly more volume and depth without losing its compact and manageable feel. The spruce top produces a clear, open sound with strong projection, while the mahogany back and sides add warmth and body. This results in a lively and well-balanced tone, suitable for both strumming and more delicate melodic playing.

 

With a scale length of approximately 37.6 cm and an overall length of around 60.8 cm, this ukulele feels immediately comfortable in the hands. The body measures approximately 28.1 cm in length and 7.0 cm in depth, contributing to a full sound without making the instrument feel large or heavy.

 

The Aquila Super Nylgut® strings provide stable tuning and a pleasant string tension. Combined with the Graph Tech NuBone® nut and saddle, this ensures a clear and consistent transfer of sound. The satin finish feels smooth and gives the ukulele a refined, modern appearance. This is a fully acoustic model with no built-in electronics, making it ideal for use at home, on the go or while travelling.

 

This ukulele comes supplied with a black strap button and a gig bag. As mentioned, it is a purely acoustic instrument without electronics.
