Familiar workflow, new possibilities

The KAOSS PAD originally began as a performance tool for DJs, but soon found wide use in electronic music, hip-hop, rock and experimental genres. Direct control via the XY touchpad remains central, but with the KAOSS PAD V this workflow has been further expanded. The redesigned layout with multi-colour LEDs provides clear visual feedback and an organised interface during performances.

Dual Touch and personal presets

A key innovation is the Dual Touch control, allowing you to manipulate different effect parameters simultaneously with two fingers. In addition, effects can now be customised and saved as personal presets, enabling you to tailor the KAOSS PAD V completely to your own sound and way of working.

Effects, sampling and connectivity

The KAOSS PAD V offers an extensive selection of effects, including modulation, filters, distortions, reverbs, delays, and special vocoder and vocal effects. The combined microphone and Hi-Z input makes it easy to connect vocals, instruments and other audio sources. The sampling and looper functions have also been expanded, featuring multiple sample banks and tempo-synchronised loops of up to eight bars.

Thanks to the built-in USB audio interface, the KAOSS PAD V integrates seamlessly into DAW-based setups. In combination with the browser-based editor software, this provides a modern and flexible workflow while fully preserving the familiar hands-on KAOSS experience.
