The Korg microAUDIO 722 builds on the high-quality audio performance of the microAUDIO series and adds something truly unique: genuine analogue character. The preamps are designed for powerful amplification with minimal noise, maximum clarity, and no unnecessary circuitry. With support for 24-bit/192 kHz audio and balanced inputs and outputs, you can capture every nuance – from detailed vocals to layered synthesisers and live performances.
Intuitive control for creative flow
Each channel features versatile microphone, line, and Hi-Z inputs with 48V phantom power. In addition, an assignable noise gate and either a compressor or limiter are available, ensuring smooth and controlled signal processing with minimal noise. These processors can be applied not only to the inputs but also to any audio played back from a connected computer.
The headphone output can be assigned independently from the main outputs, making it ideal for click tracks, cue mixes or DJ applications. With the Stereo Link function, you can control both channels simultaneously — perfect for stereo synths or paired sound sources.
Where analogue makes the difference
What truly sets the microAUDIO 722 apart is the iconic analogue filter taken from the miniKORG 700S. Known for its warm, musical response, this filter can be used either as a standalone processor or fully integrated into your DAW workflow. Use it as an auto-wah for guitar or bass, or route digital synths and software instruments through it for authentic analogue movement and character.
The filter offers Low-Pass, High-Pass and Bypass modes, and it can process both external inputs and computer audio. Thanks to MIDI In/Out, the filter can be fully automated and synchronised with external hardware, enabling hybrid workflows that combine digital precision with classic analogue behaviour.
Ready for streaming
The built-in loopback mode makes it easy to route computer audio directly to your DAW or livestream without complicated routing. With USB-C connectivity, the microAUDIO 722 works seamlessly with computers, smartphones and tablets, allowing you to record, create or stream wherever you are.
