Nord Electro 7-73
The Nord Electro 7-73 Waterfall Keybed is a versatile and powerful stage keyboard designed for demanding musicians. It combines advanced organ, piano, and synth engines in a compact and rugged design, making it ideal for both live performance and studio use.
The organ section is based on the acclaimed Nord Organ 3 engine and features a new rotary speaker with selectable microphone positions, Slow/Fast and Stop functions, and improved transistor organ models. Thanks to the physical drawbars with LED indicators and Drawbar Live Mode, switching between Upper and Lower manual settings and presets is fast and intuitive.
The piano section has been further refined with Dynamic Compression and Unison, adding extra depth and expression. A convenient push encoder allows quick selection of pianos and other sounds across different categories.
The updated program section features a clear color display, Live Mode, and a push encoder for intuitive program selection, ensuring full control during live performances.
New to the Nord Electro 7 is the expanded synth section, offering sample playback as well as analog and FM synthesis. Features such as Mono/Legato mode, Glide, Unison, an ADR envelope for amp and filter, a resonant filter, FM partials, and synth vibrato provide a wide range of modern and classic synth sounds.
The effects section has also been updated and includes Rate and Amount controls, Ring Modulator, and Vibe. The amp section introduces a new Suitcase model and a new Brit Amp. Compression can be set per section or globally, while the global reverb with optional sends per layer delivers a professional spatial sound.
The Nord Electro 7-73 is equipped with a semi-weighted 73-key waterfall keyboard, offering extended playing range and making it ideal for pianists and organists who need more flexibility on stage. The Electro 7 series is also available in a 61-key version and an HP model featuring a Kawai Hammer Action keybed.
