The Otentic TL Classic semi-acoustic guitar is an affordable dream for those who desire the quality of a hand-built instrument. Although not completely ‘hand-built’, these guitars are ‘hand-assembled’ by experienced guitar builders who use only top components from brands such as Gotoh, Schaller, Wilkinson, Sperzel, and CTS. The most beautiful bodies and necks are carefully selected for each instrument, resulting in exceptional playing comfort and appearance.
Typical of Otentic is the special finish: their guitars are not lacquered, but oil-treated. This finish allows the wood to breathe better, sounds warmer and feels more comfortable—and it is also more environmentally friendly than conventional lacquer. The JS Moore single coil pickups, hand-wound especially for Otentic, give you a versatile, dynamic sound.
This model has a Telecaster Thinline body, equipped with a maple neck and ebony fingerboard. You get two hand-wound single coils, a three-position switch, volume control, tone control, and a stylish three-ply pickguard.
