This remarkable synthesiser is equipped with one of Roland’s best sound engines, delivering excellent sound quality and an impressive selection: acoustic and electric pianos, beautiful strings, superb guitars, powerful brass, percussion, exotic instruments, modern synth sounds and more. The sound library covers an enormous variety of musical styles.

You can further shape the sounds using the handy SOUND MODIFY controls on the front panel, which are also suitable for real-time adjustments. A software editor is included as well, allowing you to carry out detailed programming on your computer with ease.

Easy navigation

A huge number of sounds can sometimes feel overwhelming — unless you have the JUNO-Di’s category buttons, which let you find the right sounds quickly. Simply press the PIANO button, for example, to browse all available piano sounds. In addition, FAVOURITE buttons allow you to store your favourite sounds so they’re always within reach.

Editing is equally straightforward. Using dedicated buttons and the large LCD display, you can quickly set up layers and splits. The JUNO-Di even includes rhythm patterns with adjustable tempo, which is useful both for live performance and for practising new songs.

Sing along

The JUNO-Di features a microphone input and a vocoder function, allowing you to process vocals when needed. A dedicated reverb effect is available for the microphone input, so you can fine-tune your vocal sound without affecting the other parts. There are also fun and creative effects that let you transform your mic signal to sound like… a robot and other quirky effects.

Built for on the move

The JUNO-Di is truly a synthesiser made for travelling musicians. Despite its light weight of just 5.2?kg, it is solidly built. It can also run on batteries — up to five hours on a set of rechargeable Ni-MH AA batteries. All you need is a battery-powered amplifier, such as the Roland CUBE Street or MOBILE CUBE, and you’re ready to play outdoors. A front-panel indicator warns you in time when the battery level is running low, so you’ll never be caught out mid-performance.
