The Yamaha B30PWH SC3 Silent Piano is the flagship model within the updated B Series, offering a convincing balance of tone, playing comfort and modern functionality. With a height of 121 cm, this piano features a larger soundboard and longer bass strings than the smaller B Series models. This results in a richer tone, a wider dynamic range and a warm, well-projected bass register. The hammers developed specifically for the B Series, drawing on Yamaha’s expertise from the CFX concert grand, ensure clear articulation and a natural tone across the entire keyboard.
The key distinguishing advantage of this model is the integrated SC3 Silent Piano™ technology. With a single, simple action, you can switch to silent mode and play through headphones, while the action and touch remain fully acoustic. This allows you to retain the authentic piano feel while practising at any time of day. The wide music rest across the full width of the fallboard provides space for multiple or fold-out scores, and the soft-close keyboard cover adds extra safety and ease of use. Like all pianos in the B Series, the B30PWH SC3 is produced in Yamaha’s own factory in Hangzhou.
