The Yamaha YC1SG is a compact Japanese acoustic piano that stands out for its reliability, tonal balance and size. The YC1 is known for its consistent build quality, featuring a clear, well-balanced tone and a pleasant playing touch. With a height of 114?cm, the YC1 is more compact than models such as the U1, while still retaining the typical Yamaha feel in terms of touch and stability. Thanks to the Silent System, you can switch from acoustic to digital playing with a single movement. Using headphones, you can enjoy Yamaha’s high-quality samples without disturbing your surroundings – ideal for practising at any time of day.

The history of Yamaha
The Yamaha brand name is well known in the world of musical instruments, but also extends far beyond it. Motorcycles, skis and audio equipment, among other things, are produced today. However, the company's origins lie entirely in music, and the three tuning forks that make up the logo are a nice detail of this. The Japanese company Yamaha was founded in 1887 by Mr. Tarakuse Yamaha. He started making Harmoniums and more than 13 years later, in 1900, he built the first pianos. The factory is located in Hamamutsu and has left its footprint all over the world. With more than 6 million instruments produced, you will find Yamaha pianos and grand pianos worldwide. The instruments are known for their solid construction, clear transparent sound, easy playability and high degree of tuning stability. Have you become curious about these beautiful instruments? We have a continuously changing collection of Yamaha pianos and you are very welcome!
