Yamaha introduces new range MODX Synthesizers
The newest models
These models do not replace the current MODX range. Instead, the MODX-M8, MODX-M7 and MODX-M6 have come as an addition to it.
Different dimensions
The combination of engines consists of warm, vintage analog synthesizers, advances FM-synthesizers, and instruments that are imitated in an ultra realistic way. The warm sound can be created with the AX-X engine, while the FM sounds can be found in the FM-X. AWM2 is the engine for the other instruments. The Motion Control Synthesis Engine unites the three and offters a huge amount of interactive expression possibilities. This creates a unique fourth dimension.
Improved expression from studio to stage
Unlike the traditional hardware synthesizers, the MODX M builds a bridge between stage and studio. The synths are compact and light, which makes them perfect to take your music with you. Together with deep computer connectivity and integration, it raises the total expression up to a highter level.
New mobility
Besides the compact light weight design of these synthesizers, Yamaha launches optional softcases to go along. These softcases provide extra protection and style without adding too much extra weight. The MODX-M8 by itself weighs 13,6 kilograms, the MODX-M7 has a weighy of 11,3 kilograms, and the MODX M6 is only 6,6 kilograms as the smallest of its range. The measures go from 152x391x1.310 millimeters, to 117x347x1.089 millimeters and 117x347x882 millimeters.
Simplified controls
The new MODX M offers a flexible, streamlined workflow with a big number of controllers and clear displays. The intuitive navigation is faster and there are more channels for the audio interface. You can combine your own work with Cubase AI software. It also comes with an extra USB and MIDI plugin.
