Johannus Ecclesia T255 Tab Extern
The Johannus Ecclessia 255 is the smallest organ of Johannus' Ecclessia series. The organ which is specifically built to accompany part-song, has two manuals, 35 stops and a 30-tonne pedal. It can be used for all kinds of music as there are different sound styles on the organ namely: Romantic, Baroque and Symphonic. The organs are sampled using Real Sampling technology, which means that different church organs are recorded key by key and can be played on this organ.
The organ is also finished in oak, and can be delivered in any colour. The organ comes with various presets where you can easily switch between, for example, pianomezzo and fortissimo, this in combination with the two swell pedals, the sound can be tuned in a fantastic way.
The Johannus Ecclessia 255 includes a 6.1 audio system and external organ speakers this means that the speakers are placed in the space of the church. There is also a convolution reverb on the organ, this means that different church spaces are recorded and you can have your own Ecclesia organ played in this space. In addition, when the organ is purchased, the entire organ is tuned and intoned to the space of the church or hall. The wishes of the congregation are also taken into account, resulting in a fantastic organ.
There are various options for the organ, such as the possibility of purchasing a valve bench with the organ. The Johannus Ecclesia 355 is the middle organ in the Ecclesia series. The organ is truly a sublime church organ, the organ has 3 manuals, 43 illuminated stops and a 30 ton pedal, this organ guarantees you enough power to accompany the congregational singing. The Johannus Ecclesia D455 is the largest model of the church organ line from Johannus organ building. The organ is also called the powerhouse of electronic (church) organs. This nickname is not without reason, this magnificent organ features 56 organ stops, including a 32 feet on the organ. These 56 organ stops are divided over three manuals and a 30-ton pedal, so plenty of combination possibilities. CROSS-SECTION OF INTERNATIONAL PIPE ORGANS
The fixed stoplist was developed based on a sophisticated cross-section made by Johannus of pipe organs around the world. To put it simply: we analyzed the stoplists of dozens of international pipe organs and noted which stops occurred most frequently among these organs. These included stops such as the Principal 8’, the Flute 4’ and the Trumpet 8’. We subsequently gave these stops a place in the standard stoplist of the Johannus LiVE 2T. The names of these stops are on the illuminated stop tabs.
AUTHENTIC, PROFESSIONAL RECORDINGS
You can upload the sample sets for dozens of international pipe organs on the Johannus LiVE 2T. Special sample sets have been developed for this purpose. The sample sets are uploaded into the digital organ using a USB stick. Each USB stick contains the authentic, professional recordings of a specific international pipe organ. These sample sets contain a large number of unique stops for these organs. A number of selected stops from the very large Johannus sample database have also been added. The result is that each sample set for the Johannus LiVE 2T contains exactly 44 stops. Most of these stops come from the original pipe organ, and the rest are supplementary stops in the spirit of and complementary to the character of the pipe organ concerned.

FOUR POSITIONS PER ORGAN
For each sample, that authentic, high-quality sound can be played from four different positions within the church. The first position places you in the organist’s seat. The direct transmission of sound dominates the experience, while the spatial acoustics are secondary. The second position sets you in the audience, close to the front of the organ. The reverb is already coming into play, but the direct sound is still the primary focus. In the third position, you are placed right in the middle of the church, where sound and reverb meld as if you were in a CD recording. The fourth position places you in the back of the church, beyond the scope of the reverb.

The sound professionals at Johannus have made lifelike recordings of dozens of pipe organs. They have used the best audio equipment to achieve a very accurate reproduction. With Johannus Live III BDO, each sample set consists of a fixed disposition of 50 voices. To arrive at the fixed disposition, Johannus analysed many organs around the world and noted down the most common voices.
This sophisticated cross section of voices is recorded from each authentic pipe organ and supplemented with matching voices from the Johannus sample library to achieve the complete disposition and sound character. Organs from well-known churches such as Utrecht, Zwolle, Paris and Dresden are included, bringing the live experience right into your living room! Live III BDO Dynamic Stops
Each of the 50 stops is equipped with a small dynamic display that continuously shows the correct name of the disposition of the selected sample set. For example, the stop that designates a Prestant 4' on the Cavaillé-Coll organ of the Église Notre-Dame d'Auteuil in Paris is a Gemshoorn 4' on the Bätz organ in Utrecht Cathedral. Registration on the Johannus Live III BDO is via the wooden draw stops, bringing the playing experience up to the level of real organs.
Reverberation in the Live
The sound character of authentic pipe organs is partly determined by the environment in which they are placed. The large spaces of cathedrals create unique reverb effects for each organ. The various sample sets take full advantage of this, making you feel as if you are playing the organ in the church. Even more unique is the ability to choose your position in the church. Sitting on the organ bench, for example, is a much more direct experience than standing at the back of the church. That is why every available Live organs has four different reverb positions: on the organ bench, about ten metres from the front of the organ, in the centre of the church, and at the back of the church.
