Improved Keyboard
One of the major upgrades is the improved keyboard. At first glance, the Yamaha NU1XA has the same highly acclaimed keyboard as its predecessor, with refined wooden keys and a real hammer system that strikes against hyper-sensitive sensors. But it's the details that make this keyboard so special! Yamaha has used their new articulation system with not just 1, but 2 sensors! The second sensor is hidden underneath the keyboard and is designed to accurately measure the smallest articulations of the key. This allows the note to start and stop in an even more natural way, making fast play a lot more refined! Never before has a digital keyboard felt so natural.
Elegant Design
The N-series has always been known for its sleek design. The Yamaha NU1XA features a design that at first glance resembles an upright piano. Thanks to its compact shape, it easily fits into any room. Grand Piano Pedals
One of the most requested features for a new Yamaha hybrid piano was a pedal system with natural resistance. Yamaha has added this to the new NU1XA as well! The new GrandTouch™ pedals have a fulcrum structure that is comparable to that of a grand piano. The pedal feels different at every gradient when you press it. It's like lifting something upwards, just like with a grand piano. Releasing the pedal also has a different feel than pressing it. So very realistic indeed!
Speakers & Sound
With this update, Yamaha has also tackled the speaker system. By using their new dome tweeters with bi-directional horn, the high and mid-tones come out even more realistic and detailed than before. The CFX and Bösendorfer sounds have also received a significant upgrade and now sound even more beautiful! And thanks to the binaural sampling technology, the sounds can also be listened to beautifully with headphones.
