Line 6 Helix Stadium: The Eras Update 1.4

Three New Amp Models

Line 6 has released update 1.4, also known as The Eras Update, for the Helix Stadium XL Floor and Helix Stadium Floor. This free update adds three new amp models with a total of 14 new amp channels, along with six new effects and new ways to play along with your favourite tracks. It also brings improvements to loading times, control and connectivity.

The three new amp models are the Brit SL100, Omega Granophyre and Prosecutor. The Brit SL100 Agoura is based on the classic Marshall JMP 1959 Super Lead 100. It offers four different tonal variations inspired by versions from 1967, 1968, 1970 and 1971. Each variation features Normal, Bright and Jumped channel options, giving you more ways to shape your tone.

The Omega Granophyre is based on the Omega Ampworks Granophyre 6L6. The Prosecutor is an original Line 6 amp model inspired by the Litigator.

The update also adds six effects: four distortion and boost effects and two modulation effects. These include the Rock Box Boost and Rock Box Distortion for adding gain and grit to your guitar tone, as well as the Dimension W chorus for a wider, more spacious sound.

Stem Separation: Play Along with Your Favourite Tracks

The new stem separation feature in Showcase lets you split an audio recording into five separate stereo tracks: drums, bass, guitar, vocals and other instruments.

This is particularly useful when practising along with a song. For example, you can mute the original guitar part and play along with the rest of the band. You can also isolate individual parts to hear them more clearly and learn riffs and melodies by ear.

Faster Operation and USB-C Connectivity

Alongside the new sounds and practice features, update 1.4 includes several practical improvements. Presets load faster, and the Helix Stadium app can now connect to the device via USB-C as well as Wi-Fi.

Other improvements include MIDI control, organising Clones into folders and working with effect blocks. You can now convert mono effect blocks to stereo without losing your existing settings. Showcase can also automatically skip markers during playback.

Free Update for Helix Stadium

The Eras Update is available free of charge for the Line 6 Helix Stadium XL Floor and Helix Stadium Floor. You can install the update directly over Wi-Fi on the device or via USB using the Line 6 Central app.
