Casio GP-510PE – Used
The Casio GP-510 combines a lifelike piano sound with the many advantages that a digital piano offers. The new design shines like that of a luxurious acoustic piano thanks to its wooden cabinet and golden accents. Its modern look ensures that this piano not only sounds beautiful but also looks excellent in the living room. Combine this with the high-gloss black finish and you have a piano that can shine in any living room.
Sound
Casio, in collaboration with Bechstein, has created a completely new sound generator for the Casio Grand Hybrid series. The three new concert grand sounds are lifelike and each of the three is completely different from the others. The grand piano samples fill your entire living room thanks to the extensive speaker system with two large speakers of 30 watts each, and two smaller speakers of 20 watts each. You can also keep the top lid open for a surround-sound feel. The grand piano samples were created together with the well-known piano brand Bechstein, which has more than 160 years of experience in building grand pianos and upright pianos. Casio has also added several simulations to the system. For example, with the Concert Simulation you can recreate the same warmth and resonance of a large concert hall directly in your own living room.
Keys
With the new GP-510, Casio has brought back the highly praised Natural Grand Hammer Action Keyboard. These lifelike wooden keys use a real hammer mechanism, just like an acoustic piano. Many pianists felt no difference between an acoustic piano keyboard and that of the Casio GP-310. You can also adjust the sensitivity of the keys as well as the weighting. This means you can set up the Casio GP-510 entirely to your own preference — from sound to touch.
System
The Casio GP-510 offers countless options that you can adjust using the easy-to-read display. You can record your piano playing and save it onto your computer, and it has a built-in metronome. The different samples are easy to find via the clear and well-organised menu. You do not need to spend hours browsing through the manual — the Grand Hybrid’s menu is easy to understand and quick to use. All this makes the Casio GP-510 a fantastic piano for the music lover who wants a lifelike piano sound, combined with the excellent advantages of a digital system.
