The SB59/TV is a great Les Paul from Eastman. Although Eastman is mostly known for their western guitars and hollow-body guitars, but they definitely know what they’re doing when it comes to solid-body electric guitars. The SB59/TV has the typical appearance of a Les Paul. However, this model is even sturdier and better than most Les Pauls. The body consists of mahogany with a top layer of maple. These tonewoods are very sturdy and popular for solid-body guitars. Furthermore, the guitar has a mahogany neck. The neck and the body are made of one solid piece of wood instead of two separate pieces glued together. Moreover, the guitar has two Lollar Custom Aged/Wound Imperial Humbucker pickups. These are high-quality pickups that have a nice balance and an extra bit of boost in the output. Additionally, the pickups produce a full sound and good articulation. The guitar has two volume knobs and two tone knobs and a 3-way switch. This makes it easy to adjust the sound.
Eastman
Eastman was founded in 1992 by Qian Ni, a Chinese musician who had moved to America. He realised there were few professional instruments available at the time, which is why he decided to start his own company. Quality is still Eastman’s priority. Every instrument is made by hand and goes through an extensive process to ensure that the instruments will stand the test of time and can be used quite intensively.
