The Vintera II Series
Fender attempts with their Vintera II series to combine their authentic and original models with modern luthier techniques. These guitars were based on the legendary original models from the ‘50s, ‘60s, and ‘70s. Consequently, the Vintera II models have iconic colours, a vintage neck, and era-correct pickups. The Vintera II series has improved pickups compared to the original Vintera series, more models (including a Telecaster Thinline and a Mustang Bass), and the weights are more authentic. The Vintera II instruments are thus ideal for musicians who love retro!
The Vintera II ‘70s Telecaster Deluxe
Fender developed the first Telecaster in the 1950s and the guitar immediately became a music industry standard. This model was inspired by the iconic 1970s Telecasters. Subsequently, the guitar has a ‘70s neck profile and two Vintage-Style ‘70s Wide-Range Humbucker pickups. With these pickups it’s possible to create that typical Telecaster humbucker sound: bright and warm. The pickups can be adjusted with the three-way switch, the volume knobs, and the tone knobs, similar to a Les Paul. The guitar has an alder body, which is very lightweight and produces great sustain. The guitar has a maple neck and fretboard. The guitar will be delivered with a soft bag.
Fender
Fender was founded in 1946 by Clarence Leonidas ‘Leo’ Fender. Their first guitar, the Telecaster, became a huge success, and they started producing other similarly popular models, like the Stratocaster and the Precision Bass. Nowadays Fender has a huge assortment of different basses and guitars, with different sounds, colours, and prices, so that they have something for everyone. Consequently, they remain one of the most popular guitar brands today!
