New Drivers, Professional Sound!
Focusrite has been the most popular audio interface brand among musicians for years — and for good reason. Their interfaces are known for offering an impressive dynamic range, meaning whether you’re recording a loud or soft instrument, you’ll always have enough gain to capture the source with clarity. With the new 4th Generation, this has been taken even further, offering an incredible 120 dB of dynamic range — plenty of gain to record any instrument without unwanted noise! In addition, the headphone DAC has been upgraded in this generation, allowing high-impedance headphones to perform perfectly with the Scarlett 2i2.
Simplified operation
When you start recording instruments or vocals, finding the right settings can sometimes be difficult. That's why Focusrite has added some new features to the fourth generation to make things as simple as possible. There are two different air modes: Presence and Harmonic Drive. Presence provides a boost in the high frequencies, making it ideal for vocals! Harmonic Drive is a brand new setting that boosts the mid-range harmonics. This results in a fuller sound that stands out in the mix. The auto-gain function ensures that you never record too few decibels. What's more, the new clip-safe function means you never have to worry about clipping again!
Loopback, Software, and More!
Do you want to sample sounds or record audio from your computer for a livestream? The Loopback feature makes it easy! You can manage this and more with the new Focusrite Control software for PC and Mac, customizing it to suit your workflow. The Scarlett 2i2 also comes with free software, including Ableton Live Lite, Pro Tools Artist, and Hitmaker Expansion. Your musical journey starts here with the new Focusrite Scarlett 2i2!
