Korg SV-2S 73
The Korg SV-2S 73 combines a superb 73-key RH3 keyboard with an extensive sound library and effects section. Thanks to a tenfold increase in sample memory, every instrument sound, from subtle acoustic pianos to modular synths, is remarkably realistic and dynamic. Operation has been deliberately kept simple: turn a knob, select a sound, and play. Everything is instantly accessible without screens or menus, allowing you to stay fully focused on your performance.
A Modern Classic
Thanks to its RH3 keybed, the SV-2S 73 feels like an authentic acoustic piano, with heavier keys in the lower register and a lighter touch in the upper range. The 128-note polyphony and advanced RX (Real eXperience) layer provide a highly natural response. You can hear and feel the difference, with every note bringing the instrument to life.
Exceptional Sound Possibilities for Studio and Stage
The SV-2S 73 offers 72 sounds, including American and German electric pianos, analogue and digital EPs, various organs (tonewheel, transistor and church organs), tape strings, pads, bass sounds and two beautifully sampled harpsichords. Its acoustic piano sounds are sourced from leading German, Italian, Austrian and Japanese manufacturers, delivering warmth, clarity and expression.
Using the free SV-2S Editor, you can create your own splits, layers and presets, combining up to three sounds simultaneously, making it ideal for both live performance and studio work.
The onboard effects section includes a compressor, U-Vibe, tremolo, chorus, rotary speaker, plate reverb and the renowned Korg Valve Reactor circuitry featuring a genuine 12AX7A valve for added warmth and character. With balanced XLR outputs, MIDI, USB and three pedal inputs, the SV-2S 73 integrates effortlessly into virtually any setup.
Included Accessories
The Korg SV-2S 73 is supplied with the DS-2H half-damper pedal, allowing you to take full advantage of the instrument’s expressive capabilities. A mains power cable and clear user manual are also included, so you can start playing straight away.
Optional Accessories
To expand your SV-2S 73 setup, we recommend an expression pedal, additional sustain pedal, keyboard stand or durable carrying bag. These accessories are also available from Joh.deHeer.
