Sound

A powerful new sound engine provides clear, realistic sounds. The sound engine consists of a mix of sampling, waveform generation and physical modelling. The Numa X contains more than 200 different sounds, divided across 8 Sound Banks. Various acoustic pianos, electric pianos, keyboards, organs, synthesisers, orchestral sounds, bass and guitar sounds and many more. Would you like even more sounds? Studiologic has developed a desktop app that allows you to select additional sounds and organise them quickly and easily: Numa Manager. With various effects such as delay, reverb, distortion, overdrive and many more, you can create any atmosphere you want.

Keyboard

As mentioned above, this version of the Studiologic Numa X Piano features 88 weighted keys with a wooden core. For the pure pianist this is often a requirement, but you will need to compromise on weight. This version weighs 22 kilos, whereas the version without a wooden core weighs only 14 kilos. Operation

One important goal for Studiologic was ensuring simple operation. Not an unnecessary number of buttons, but enough physical controls for good command over the instrument. The 2.8" colour display makes operating it even clearer. This allows you to switch quickly and effectively between different channels, sounds and settings. Very useful for the live musician, but also very pleasant for the hobby player. The clean and organised appearance ensures that you quickly become familiar with the instrument.

The piano has 4 different sound channels. On each channel you can select different sounds, and these channels can also be layered. Internal sounds and external MIDI sounds can be loaded onto the different channels. Master Effects can also be added to each channel. The final mix can then be adjusted with the Master EQ. The piano also has a built-in four-track digital mixer and a USB audio interface.
