Keys

The Yamaha CLP-865GPE uses the GrandTouch S keyboard. This keyboard has an ivory finish on the top, which gives it a comfortable and luxurious feel. Although the keys are made of plastic, they have a realistic feel. This is partly due to the internal hammer mechanism. The keys are adjusted at the factory by Yamaha to be heavier on the low notes and lighter on the high notes. Just like an acoustic model.
