Yamaha FG7 RX Natural

The Yamaha FG7 RX Natural is a dreadnought Western guitar from Yamaha’s FG Series. The combination of a solid Sitka spruce top and solid Indian rosewood back and sides delivers a full, balanced sound with powerful bass response, clear highs and rich overtones. The slightly thicker back contributes to the guitar’s projection and dynamic character. In addition, the Yamaha FG7 RX Natural is equipped with Yamaha’s Atmosfeel™ pickup system, accurately reproducing the instrument’s natural sound when amplified. The one-piece mahogany neck with a rounded V profile sits comfortably in the hand, while the ebony fingerboard and bridge provide a direct response and excellent note definition. The attention to detail is evident throughout, with subtle touches that reflect the instrument’s Japanese heritage and the craftsmanship behind its construction.

The FG7 RX’s dreadnought body is ideal for players who enjoy strumming and are looking for a powerful, expansive sound. At the same time, the guitar responds accurately to a lighter touch, making it equally suitable for fingerstyle playing and more nuanced techniques.

The combination of a solid Sitka spruce top and solid Indian rosewood delivers a broad tonal spectrum with ample dynamic range, allowing differences in playing style and attack to be clearly expressed. Thanks to the integrated Atmosfeel™ pickup system, this guitar is suitable not only for home and studio use, but also for live performances where a natural amplified sound is required.

The Yamaha FG7 RX is supplied with a durable hardshell case, a certificate of authenticity, an Allen key and a soundhole cover.

A tuner, capo, guitar strap and guitar stand are useful additions for everyday use. For stage applications, this guitar can be connected directly to a suitable acoustic guitar amplifier or PA system to make full use of the Atmosfeel™ pickup system.
