Yamaha P-525 Portable Piano Black
The Yamaha P-525 is the brand-new flagship model of Yamaha’s portable piano range. With a new keyboard, improved sounds and a completely redesigned speaker system, this is a highly promising piano for the demanding player. Anyone looking for a portable piano that comes extremely close to the feel and sound of an acoustic instrument should certainly take a look at this top model from Yamaha.
GrandTouch S Wooden Keyboard
The Yamaha P-525 features a completely new keyboard, and this is far more than a minor upgrade. The GrandTouch S keyboard is already well known from the Clavinova range. With outstanding expressiveness, a wooden core and real hammers, it has been highly praised from day one in Yamaha’s upright-style digital pianos. Now the Japanese manufacturer has succeeded in bringing this technology into a compact piano. In short: a major upgrade for the P-525 – and that’s not all.
New Speaker Design
At first glance, little seems to have changed in the P-525’s speaker system on the outside. That would make sense, as the speaker system of its predecessor, the P-515, was already among the best on the market. Nevertheless, Yamaha has made extensive internal improvements. The cabinet has been significantly upgraded, offering more space for the subwoofer and new sound-absorbing material on the underside. The speaker enclosure material has also been changed to reduce vibrations and unwanted noise. Finally, the amplifier has been given even more power! With a total output of 50 watts, the P-525 can easily be used even in the loudest practice environments.
CFX & Bösendorfer
The Yamaha P-525 comes as standard with the highest-quality CFX and Bösendorfer piano sounds. The CFX is the largest concert grand piano produced by Yamaha. With a length of over 250 cm, this is an instrument found only in the world’s largest concert halls and studios. The Bösendorfer Imperial, on the other hand, is the largest grand piano made by the Austrian manufacturer, delivering a beautifully warm European sound with exceptional character. Both of these outstanding concert grands are included in the Yamaha P-525 at the highest quality. In short: when it comes to piano sounds, the P-525 fully lives up to its price tag.
If you also enjoy playing other sounds such as electric pianos, organs, strings, synthesisers and more, the Yamaha P-525 has you well covered. In addition, it even features a built-in rhythm box with 40 rhythms – ideal for practice sessions and solo performances.
In short: the new Yamaha P-525 is an excellent portable piano for any pianist looking for a mobile instrument without compromise.
