The history of Yamaha

However, the company's origins lie entirely in music, and the three tuning forks that make up the logo are a nice detail of this. The Japanese company Yamaha was founded in 1887 by Mr. Tarakuse Yamaha. He started making Harmoniums and more than 13 years later, in 1900, he built the first pianos.
