Roland/BOSS offers two types of sturdy metal footswitches for different applications. The FS-5U (silver) is a momentary "unlatch"-type footswitch, and the FS-5L (black) is a latch-type footswitch with an LED to indicate status. FS-7 is a compact dual footswitch for remote control of effect pedals or amp channel switching. Two footswitches are arranged in tandem, which saves space on effects pedal boards. Two selectable modes for latch or momentary allow for control of a wide range of equipment.

The FS-1-WL is a handy wireless footswitch. This footswitch can be used together with music apps, YouTube videos, and Boss/Roland devices that are accessible through Bluetooth. Furthermore, it’s possible to connect pedals and other forms of hardware with a MIDI-cable. As such, it’s possible to use the switch to turn the page of your sheet music on your device, to pause a YouTube video, or to record your music directly to your laptop.
