Roland introduces new synthesizers in the Juno D-series

Roland gives the Juno D synthesizers, launched in 2005, a new look with the Juno D6, D7 and D8. They have developed the technology from the original Juno D series into these latest models, and it promises to be an advanced upgrade.

Popular Series
The Juno-D series is a popular line of synthesizers, known for their affordability, ease of use, and impressive sonic capabilities. These new models are no different. Aimed at the musician looking for a versatile electronic instrument, this series features a wide range of PCM sounds.

Revamped keyboard
Where the original Juno D has a 61-key touch-sensitive keyboard and over 640 sounds, the D6D7 and D8 offer over 3500. In addition, exclusive sounds can be added with Roland's SDZ tones. The number of keys starts with 61 for the D6, but the D7 has 76 and the D8 has 88. The D8 also has weighted keys with an ivory feel. With the ability to split and create layers, you can also use up to eight different sounds at once. You can also share sounds from other Zencore instruments.

Versatile for everyone
Made for the inspired musician looking for new sounds and ways to create their own music, these synthesisers are ideal for making that happen. Whereas the D6 and D7 focus more on keyboards, the D8 also lets you easily play in the style of a piano. There are also built-in rhythms, samples and sequences that lay the foundation for the bigger picture.

From today, the Roland Juno D6, D7 and D8 are in shops!

Previously, this was possible by using 8 AA batteries, but with this new series you can simply connect a Power bank via USB-C and use it to power the JUNO-D6! The number of (rotary) knobs and sliders for quick adjustments have also returned, as have the red/blue accents on the housing. It has also remained light and compact, making it ideal for the touring keyboardist!

Roland has added a beautiful color display to the new JUNO-D6, making it easy to see which preset or setting you are in. In addition, the beloved phrase pads are back, making it just as easy to sample and create sequences as before.

ZEN Core

One of the most important features of the new Roland JUNO D is that it now features Roland's highly acclaimed ZEN Core engine. This is Roland's latest sound engine, and is known for its excellent pianos, e. pianos, organs, strings, synthesizers and more! The cool thing about the new ZEN core is that all sounds are interchangeable between Roland instruments. If you know someone with a Roland ZEN core instrument, you can share your presets with each other!

Sequencer, connections and more

Other notable features of the Roland JUNO-D6 is that it has an 8-pattern sequencer with which you can easily create and save beats. In addition, you can easily record everything in your home studio thanks to the internal USB sound card, directly to your computer! Of course, it has a line-out, line-in and headphone connection. As an extra convenience, Roland has also added a microphone connection to the JUNO-D6. Ideal for performances! In short, the Roland JUNO-D6 is a very complete workstation synthesizer that, in addition to its small price and small size, certainly has great possibilities!
