Yamaha was founded in 1887 by Torakusu Yamaha in Japan when he made his first acoustic organ. Yamaha was very passionate and soon started making pianos and grand pianos. Yamaha has a new keyboard for beginners! The PSR-E383 is an affordable yet high-quality keyboard. The keyboard has touch-sensitive keys, just like professional models, which makes the keyboard feel and sound more authentic. It catches all the nuances in your playing and nicely translates this into sound. This means your playing will be more expressive, turning a soft touch into a soft sound and a harder touch into a more powerful sound. Consequently, you’ll get the feel and sound of an acoustic instrument. Moreover, the system is very versatile with more than 650 sounds from which you can choose, including concert pianos, and 125 built-in songs to play along to. With the built-in Super Articulation Lite system you can use the methods of acoustic instruments, for example, a distorted electric guitar will sound more authentic. Do you have favourite combinations or sounds? You can save them as a preset so they’re easier to obtain!
Lessons
Are you a beginner? The system has built-in lessons! You can continue to learn at your own level and pace. For example, you can choose to only practice with your left or right hand or both. Repeat the exercises you struggled most with at your own pace. Furthermore, the system evaluates your practice sessions and gives you direct feedback. Are you unable to read notes? That’s also not a problem. Yamaha uses 3-step lessons with which you can learn to play in three steps: listen, remember, and play. The notes will be shown on the keyboard screen so you’ll know where to find them. This makes learning how to play the keyboard easy, fun, and attainable.
