Summer evening concerts at Johannus
The programme
It won't just feature organ concerts. The piano, trumpet, cello and bassoon will also be featured. These evenings promise to be inspiring musical events, showcasing powerful and compelling ensemble performances.
The next concert will take place on 2 July. André van Vliet and Jan Lenselink will perform a programme full of ensemble playing, stylistic contrasts and a summery sound. On 5 August, Sander van Houten will play the organ and Ab Weegenaar will play the bassoon in a programme dedicated to Bach. The finale on 2 September will be surprising and virtuosic, featuring Martin van Heerde, Bert Elbertsen and Wilbert Berendsen.
The Feike Asma Concert Hall
The Feike Asma hall is located in the Johannus building and is a special venue for organ lovers. This concert hall is very popular among organists and their audiences, partly because of the organ there: The Sound of Excellence. An annual highlight is the Feike Asma Concours, but so too are the Summer Evening Concerts.
Dates, entrance and tickets:
Tickets cost €10 per person, per concert. Children under 12 pay €5.

The series closes with an atmospheric evening of organ playing, surprise and virtuosity from Golden Vox, consisting of Martin van Heerde, Bert Elbertsen and Wilbert Berendsen.
