Roland announces the first digital flute ever
The Aerophone Brisa combines the familiar design and fingering of a classical flute with the power of digital sound technology. Thanks to the advanced “SuperNATURAL Winds” sound engine, concert flutes, piccolos, and bass flutes sound lifelike and dynamic. In addition to authentic flute tones, the Brisa offers a wide range of other orchestral and world instruments, including saxophones, clarinets, pan flutes, and even modern synthesizers.

One of the biggest advantages of the Aerophone Brisa is the ability to practice completely silently. The instrument features a built-in speaker for immediate sound but can also be easily played with headphones. This allows musicians to play anytime and anywhere without disturbing others—ideal for home, on the go, or in quiet environments.
The Brisa is equipped with various expressive features, including a motion sensor that allows players to influence the character of the sound through body movement. Additionally, effects such as vibrato, harmony, and transposition are available, enabling musicians to expand their musical expression without giving up their familiar playing style.
With the Aerophone Brisa, Roland targets both professional musicians and dedicated hobbyists seeking an instrument that inspires, challenges, and grows with their musical ambitions. The Aerophone Brisa will be available from November 2025.
