New: Fender American Professional Classic
Vintage meets modern
The series features a collection of well-known models that Fender has given a vintage twist, combined with modern technology. In this updated line, you'll find the Telecaster, Telecaster SSS, Stratocaster, Stratocaster HSS, Precision Bass, Jazz Bass, Mustang Bass, Jaguar, and Jazzmaster. The guitars come equipped with Fender ClassicGear tuners, a modern “C”-shaped neck, the Greasebucket tone circuit, and a 6-saddle vintage-style tremolo.
Materials used
All guitars feature an alder body and a maple neck. The fingerboards vary between maple and rosewood. The frets are medium jumbo, and all models feature chrome and nickel hardware. The knobs are made of plastic and vary by model in either black or white, while the necks are fitted with white dot inlays. The electric guitars — including the Stratocaster, Telecaster, Jazzmaster, and Jaguar — have 22 frets. Among the bass guitars, the Precision Bass and Jazz Bass have 20 frets, while the Mustang Bass features 19 frets. Additionally, the Jazz Bass comes with vintage-style black plastic knobs.
Limited Editions
Squier, which belongs to Fender, is also releasing new models—limited editions from the Affinity Series. These include the Jaguar, Stratocaster, and Classic Vibe '70s Jazzmaster. The Jaguar is available in pink, blue, and black; the Stratocaster comes exclusively in black, and the Jazzmaster is offered in Vintage Blonde. All models feature a thin, lightweight body and a slim, comfortable C-shaped neck profile. Each color option also includes a matching headstock.
Extra Features
What sets these models apart is that the Jaguar features a floating bridge, vintage-style tremolo, and two single-coil pickups. The Stratocaster comes equipped with two humbucking pickups and a 2-point tremolo bridge. Finally, the Classic Vibe '70s Jazzmaster was fully designed by Fender, inspired by Jazzmasters from the 1970s. It includes Fender-designed Alnico pickups and nickel-plated hardware.
