2x 4-Inch Woofers

This compact nearfield monitor features two small 4-inch woofers, making it ideal for use in smaller spaces. Despite their size, the speakers deliver an impressive punch. This is thanks to Adam’s proprietary MLM (Multi-Layer Mineral) technology, developed specifically for these monitors. The highly efficient woofers are made from an ultra-light yet rigid composite of mineral stone fibers, fused together for optimal performance. The result is a rich, full bass response — despite the speaker’s compact form.

Tweeter and Controls

The tweeter is the familiar 1-inch ART tweeter that we also know from other Adam speakers. Adam has long been renowned for its excellent, crystal-clear WaveGuide ART tweeters, and this model naturally includes them as well. What’s new with the A44H is the amount of internal control you have over the sound. On the back, Adam has added an excellent equalizer and voicing control. There is also a LAN port for wireless control and an XLR audio input for the best sound quality. If your audio source doesn’t have an XLR output, you can also use the RCA input.
