The Behringer RD-8 Rhythm Designer combines the classic 808 sounds with modern additions such as an analogue filter and the Wave Designer, which can be used as either a compressor or a distortion effect. What makes the RD-8 unique is the ability to decide per channel whether the signal is routed through these effects, giving it exceptional flexibility. In addition, parameter automation can be programmed directly in the sequencer, for example to create dynamic filter sweeps. Control is straightforward via 5-pin MIDI or MIDI over USB, ensuring seamless integration with other equipment.
