The Player II Series
Fender developed the Player series specifically for beginning musicians and musicians with a relatively low budget. The Fender Player guitars and basses are made in Mexico and measure up to Fender’s American-made guitars quite well. The instruments are also very versatile and are even suited for recording and gigs. The Player guitars are thus more affordable versions of the popular Fender models. Consequently, they also feel and sound like a Fender guitar. However, the Player models are relatively standard, Fender did not add any unique modifications or special additions to the guitar. All Modified models have Player II Noiseless pickups with Push/Pull systems. This means they have more pickup configurations and are thus more versatile. The Player II models contain sturdier bridges so they’re more stable than with previous models, the necks now have rolled edges so they’re more comfortable, and the Modified guitars all have Locking Tuners for increased tuning stability. Furthermore, now that rosewood is back on the market some of the guitars have a rosewood fretboard.
The Player II Modified Active Jazz Bass V
The Player II Modified Active Jazz Bass V is an amazing bass for a great price. With the two Player II Noiseless pickups the bass can produce a punchy and articulated sound. Furthermore, the pickups are active, which means the bass requires batteries. Additionally, the bass is made of high-quality materials. The bass has an alder body, which provides a lightweight base and has great sustain. The bass also has a maple neck and a rosewood fretboard. This is a great combination that provides a comfortable experience.
Fender
Fender was founded in 1946 by Clarence Leonidas ‘Leo’ Fender. Their first guitar, the Telecaster, became a huge success, and they started producing other similarly popular models, like the Stratocaster and the Precision Bass. Nowadays Fender has a huge assortment of different basses and guitars, with different sounds, colours, and prices, so that they have something for everyone. Consequently, they remain one of the most popular guitar brands today!
