Design

Kawai has given the CN201 a relatively compact cabinet, making it easy to place in living rooms and bedrooms. Despite its compact design, the build quality is excellent. The premium black finish features a beautifully thin lacquer, allowing the wood grain to remain subtly perceptible. Despite its wooden cabinet, the piano is relatively light at just 43 kg, making it easy to move if required.

Kawai is renowned for its outstanding hammer-action keyboards, and the CN201 is no exception. The Responsive Hammer Action III keyboard may be made of plastic, but it offers excellent feel and balance, allowing even experienced pianists to feel at home very quickly.
