This series is focused on providing a quality digital piano, with high-end features for a relatively low price. The CN201 is a great piano for anyone looking for quality sound without paying the top price.
Sounds & Speakers
The quality of the samples and speakers are very important with a digital piano. Fortunately, that goes very well with the Kawai CN201. This one has the acclaimed SK-EX, SK-5 & EX grand piano sounds that we also find in the more expensive models. These samples have been transferred directly from their well-known Shigeru Kawai Wings, which you will encounter in the most beautiful concert halls all over the world. The speaker system is also advanced for its price. With 2 x 40 watt speakers, both of which have a size of 12 cm, you get a beautiful stereo image of the piano sound!
Design
Kawai has given the CN201 a relatively compact housing, so that it fits easily in living rooms and bedrooms. Despite its compact housing, the quality is very good. This premium black color has a beautiful thin lacquer so you can still feel the wood grains. Despite the wooden housing, the piano is relatively light, namely only 43 kg. This makes it easy to move it if you ever need to.
Keyboard & features
Kawai is renowned for its excellent hammer-action keyboards, and also with the CN201 we can only say that this is a great keyboard for the price. The Responsive Hammer Action III keyboard may be a plastic keyboard, but it has a great feel and balance that makes even the experienced pianist feel at home fairly quickly. In addition, the Kawai CN201 also comes with many extras such as bluetooth 5.0 for connecting with your smartphone or tablet. It allows you to easily take lessons and adjust piano sounds with the Kawai Piano Remote app. In short: The Kawai CN201 digital piano is a very complete package, with modern functions!
