The M309 Joshua Ambient Echo is a versatile delay pedal from MXR. MXR is a subsidiary of the popular Dunlop and they produce high-quality yet affordable guitar effects. The Joshua Ambient Echo contains many different types of delays which are also highly customisable. Additionally, the pedal contains sounds from different genres and different eras, from ‘60s trippy soundscapes to smooth modern echoes. You can adjust the tempo and the amount of echoes, but also the rhythm! Do you want the echoes to continue after you disengage the pedal? no problem! Push the Trails button and the echoes will fade out beautifully. You can even add a second echo to the sound with the Echo 2 button. However, this delay pedal doesn’t only contain echoes, but also a beautiful voice control. As such, you can change the octave or add amazing ethereal ambiances, from an organ-like sound to a beautiful modulation.
