More about the U1

While the cheaper models such as the B-series and the P-series are currently produced in Indonesia, the Yamaha U1 is still a real all-Japanese piano. Over the years, Yamaha has made extensive revisions to the piano, making it better than ever before. For the U1, which also has a bigger brother with the Yamaha U3, only the best materials are used, such as solid Canadian pine for the soundboard. All parts, including the mechanism, hammer heads and keyboard, are completely developed in-house by Yamaha. All these parts are of excellent quality and contribute to the very positive characteristics of this also very voice fixed piano.

Versions

The Yamaha U1 piano is available in this polished ebony version. In addition, we can supply this piano in a matte black, polished white, polished mahogany and American walnut version. You could also choose to purchase the piano with a Silent System, a Transacoustic System or a Disklavier System.
