The Nord Electro 7HP is a professional and versatile stage keyboard for pianists and all-round keyboard players who want the feel of a weighted keyboard combined with Nord’s signature sounds. This model brings advanced organ, piano and synth engines together in a robust, stage-ready design suitable for both live performance and studio use.

Advanced organ and piano section

The organ section is built on the powerful Nord Organ 3 engine and features an updated rotary speaker with adjustable microphone positions, Slow/Fast and Stop functions, and improved transistor organ models. Physical drawbars with LED indicators and Drawbar Live Mode allow for quick switching between upper and lower manual settings and presets. The piano section has been further enhanced with Dynamic Compression and Unison, adding extra dynamics, depth and expression. The push-encoder lets you effortlessly select pianos and other sounds across multiple categories.

Expanded synth, effects and programme section

New to the Electro 7 series is the expanded synth section with sample playback, analogue synthesis and FM synthesis. Features such as Mono/Legato, Glide, Unison, ADR envelopes for amp and filter, resonant filter, FM partials and synth vibrato offer a wide palette of modern and classic synth sounds. The updated programme section with colour display, Live Mode and push-encoder ensures fast and organised programme selection during performances. The effects section has been expanded with additions such as Ring Modulator, Vibe and improved Rate and Amount controls. The amp section introduces new models including the Suitcase amp and a Brit Amp, while global and per-section compression and reverb deliver a polished, spacious sound.

Weighted keyboard for maximum expression

The Nord Electro 7HP features a weighted Kawai Hammer-Action keyboard that offers a realistic piano feel with excellent control and expression. Alongside this HP version, the Electro 7 series is also available in 61- and 73-note models featuring semi-weighted waterfall keyboards. A powerful and expressive all-round instrument with the unmistakable Nord sound, built for the stage.
