Martin is a reputable American company which has been making guitars for almost 200 years. Throughout the years they have become one of the best when it comes to western guitars. This is because quality is their biggest priority. Consequently, Martin guitars are very popular. There are even many famous guitarists who use Martin guitars, like Muddy Waters, Bob Dylan, and David Gilmour. Furthermore, their production process is environmentally friendly. Since the ‘90s they have worked together with the FSC to prevent deforestation. They only use wood from trees that have to be cut down to keep the forest healthy. The X-Series

The BlueWave series consists of phenomenal acoustic guitars with a BlueWave preamp. This preamp adds effects (reverb and delay) to your sound without being connected to an amp. This does mean the guitar has a battery and needs to be charged every now and then. However, the system is very easy to use. It consists of three knobs with which you can adjust the sound, after which you can immediately begin to play. Furthermore, the guitar has a Bluetooth connection, which means you can use your guitar as a speaker or play along with your favourite music.

Materials

The back and sides are made of laminated rosewood. This produces a stable and bright tone. The top of the guitar is made of solid spruce. This is a great tonewood that is often used for tops as it produces a beautiful warm sound. The guitar has a khaya neck and a brankowood fretboard for a sustainable and comfortable experience.
