Eastman FullerTone SC'52 - Desert Sand

The Fullertone Series

The Eastman FullerTone SC'52 is part of the Fullertone serie. The Fullertone Guitars are an amazing addition to Eastman’s assortment! These beautiful guitars are high quality, sound incredible, and are more affordable than Eastman’s previous models. This makes the guitars ideal for players who have always wanted an Eastman guitar but haven’t had the budget for one yet. However, Eastman listened to their customers and created the Fullertone series, making their guitars available to a larger demographic. The series produces two different models in different colours: the SC (Single-Cut) and the DC (Double-Cut). A SC guitar only has a cut out in the body underneath the neck whereas the DC also has a cut out above the neck. This means that if you want to reach the higher frets with the SC you can only do so from below whilst with the DC you can also wrap your thumb around from the top. Both of the guitars have different high-quality ToneRider pickups and the guitar comes with a gig bag.

The SC’52

The SC’52 is also made of high-quality materials. As such, the guitar has a roasted black limba body, which, besides being quite sustainable, provides a sturdy base and produces a beautiful resonance. Furthermore, the guitar has a maple neck and fretboard. Maple is ideal for the combination of neck and fretboard as it provides a smooth surface and reliable tuning stability. Moreover, the guitar has a beautiful aluminium pickguard providing the guitar with a luxurious appearance. The guitar is also incredibly versatile due to its HS pickup configuration. The neck pickup is the ToneRider Soapbar Humbucker and the bridge pickup is the ToneRider TQ1B-BK Noiseless Single-Coil. The latter is positioned in the bridge, like with Telecasters. This will add a bit of twang to the sound. The combination of these two pickups make it possible for you to play beautifully bright clean tones but also screaming overdriven sounds.

Eastman

Eastman was founded in 1992 by Qian Ni, a Chinese musician who had moved to America. He realised there were few professional instruments available at the time, which is why he decided to start his own company. Quality is still Eastman’s priority. Every instrument is made by hand and goes through an extensive process to ensure that the instruments will stand the test of time and can be used quite intensively.

The SB55DC/v

The SB55DC/v is a remarkable solid-body guitar. This is not just because of its unique shape and colour, but also because it only has one pickup. The guitar contains the Lollar 50s Spec Doc Ear P-90 pickup in the bridge. This pickup is a blues pickup, based on the ‘50s. This means the P-90 emphasises the top end and sounds brighter. The guitar has a one-piece okoume body, which is a lightweight tonewood. The neck is also a one-piece okoume and has an ebony fretboard. Ebony is considered to be one of the best tonewoods for the fretboard, as it feels nice and produces a balanced sound. Furthermore, The beautiful natural patterns of the okoume are nicely complemented by the antique red colour. The SB55DC/v is delivered with a case.

Eastman SB59/TV

The SB59/TV is a great Les Paul from Eastman. Although Eastman is mostly known for their western guitars and hollow-body guitars, but they definitely know what they’re doing when it comes to solid-body electric guitars. The SB59/TV has the typical appearance of a Les Paul. However, this model is even sturdier and better than most Les Pauls. The body consists of mahogany with a top layer of maple. These tonewoods are very sturdy and popular for solid-body guitars. Furthermore, the guitar has a mahogany neck. The neck and the body are made of one solid piece of wood instead of two separate pieces glued together. Moreover, the guitar has two Lollar Custom Aged/Wound Imperial Humbucker pickups. These are high-quality pickups that have a nice balance and an extra bit of boost in the output. Additionally, the pickups produce a full sound and good articulation. The guitar has two volume knobs and two tone knobs and a 3-way switch. This makes it easy to adjust the sound.
