New Azumi model!

Azumi has recently released the Z2RE-MFA. This flute has the very latest Altus lip plate. This lip plate is made of a special silver alloy: .946 ALTUS Silver.

Altus, the manufacturer of Azumi headjoints, has created a new lip plate that will also be playable in shops on 25 January. This lip plate is made of a special silver alloy called 946 ALTUS silver. This means it has a silver alloy of 94.6% as opposed to the usual 92.5% This provides even better projection and stability. This combined with the Z-cut allows the flutist to get a fantastic sound out of the flute.

This new lip plate merged with the Z2RE makes for a perfect combination! ALTUS' Z-series flutes combine innovation and craftsmanship. The headjoint with the unique Z-Cut lip plate, made of 946 ALTUS silver, offers powerful projection and stability, while the wide blowing edge ensures fast response and a full sound. The body made of silver-plated new silver is strong and corrosion-resistant, with E-mechanism for improved stability and intonation of the high E. Open valves improve control and playing nuances, with silicone plugs for customisable use. A perfect choice for sophisticated musicians.
