New from Roland: the TR-1000 Rhythm Creator

Technical highlights
The main technical features of the TR-1000 are its analogue and digital voices and effects, advanced sampling, next-generation sequencer and performance effects. The additional improvements to the voices expand the range of pitch and decay, as well as tunability and dynamic control. With over 2,500 built-in sounds, stereo sampling and resampling, you can customise loops and sounds in real time. The internal memory consists of 64 GB, 46 GB of which is for user samples.

Simplified in use
Roland has been busy developing new technology over the past few decades. This model's functionality has been significantly updated and improved. By working with a global community focused on electronic music, Roland has been able to incorporate various tips and feedback in order to achieve the best possible results. The result is a revamped and simplified combination of Roland's classic analogue TR sounds, digital processing and stereo sampling.

A versatile foundation
Naturally, this model, like its predecessors, features classic TR-style step, real-time and off-grid sequencing, as well as advanced tools. The detailed timing resolution and flexible control make it easy to capture expressive performances without limiting your sound. With precise synchronisation and a clock with external hardware, different sounds can be seamlessly integrated and your MIDI setup can be expanded. Song Mode also allows you to link up to 128 patterns.

Powerful sound combination
The TR-1000 combines the sound engines of the TR-808 and TR-909. Together with the extensive controls, this provides various improvements and new flexibility. The TR-1000 offers Analog Circuit Behaviour (ACB) for analogue modelling that is highly detailed and virtual. Examples include 19 new circuit-bent 808/909 voices, FM synthesis, VA waveforms and PCM.

Customisable button functions
Various buttons and switches can be customised with your own function layout. This allows you to turn different sounds or effects on and off. With a simple click, you can transform any sound. The so-called morph fader can control various parameters for smooth transitions, and special volume faders and built-in effect controls make sound design extra easy.

The TR-1000 app
The TR-1000 comes with a special app that serves as a graphical interface for editing kit and instrument parameters. It also includes library functions such as saving presets and importing samples. It works as a standalone application.
