KeyChange Manuals Now Available to Play at Joh.deHeer Musical Instruments

Content Orgels has introduced a new generation of KeyChange manuals during an international dealer meeting. This innovative manual technology brings the touch and response of a pipe organ closer to those of a digital organ and will be available in selected Content organs, including models designed for Hauptwerk and Sweelinq.

A New Step Forward for Content Organs
The introduction of KeyChange marks an important development in the world of digital organs. During the dealer meeting, Content's international dealer network had the opportunity to experience the new manual technology in detail. Particular praise was given to its natural key touch, refined playing control and extensive adjustment options. KeyChange is designed for organists seeking a digital organ that not only sounds convincing but also offers a highly authentic playing experience.

Realistic Touch Through Electromagnet Technology
Where conventional organ manuals often use permanent magnets, KeyChange employs individually controlled electromagnets beneath each key. This allows the key resistance and touch to be adjusted with exceptional precision. From a light and responsive feel to a firmer tracker-style action, organists can tailor the playing experience to their own preferences.

Adjustable for Practice, Performance and Home Use
A major advantage of KeyChange is the ability to save and instantly recall different touch settings. This is particularly valuable for organists practising at home, as well as concert performers preparing for different pipe organs. The playing experience can be customised to suit the repertoire, the player's personal preferences or the instrument they intend to perform on.

Content will introduce KeyChange manuals in selected digital organs, including the Cambiare models, which are compatible with popular Virtual Pipe Organ software platforms such as Hauptwerk and Sweelinq. For organists seeking a digital organ with a highly realistic playing experience, this technology offers exciting new possibilities.

Content Cambiare 312 KEYCHANGE

The Content Cambiare 312 KEYCHANGE brings your favourite church organs to life in your own living room. As with previous Cambiare models, Content has succeeded in creating a truly authentic experience of genuine church organs with exceptionally high-quality audio. However, this organ offers even more. Thanks to the latest Keychange technology, Content has succeeded in providing organists with the most authentic and inspiring playing experience possible. With the Keychange keyboards, we are entering a new phase in which high-end keyboard technology adds a new dimension to the digital organ world. All of this is housed in a modern solid wood cabinet featuring premium touchscreen panels and special dark/light oak Keychange keyboards, allowing you to experience the latest technology. The organ is also equipped with a combination action system featuring 19 thumb pistons, enabling you to change registrations with ease. This organ is guaranteed to impress and is not only a musical instrument but also a beautiful piece of furniture for your home.

Keychange Keyboards

The Content Cambiare 312 KEYCHANGE is equipped with the innovative Keychange Keyboard technology. Adjustable electromagnets beneath every key provide a smooth, precise and controllable touch response. The weight and responsiveness of each manual can be fully adjusted to your personal preference. With just a few clicks, you can choose a light touch or the firm feel of a mechanical action. This allows you to tailor the playing experience to suit your preferences or the pipe organ on which you wish to practise.

As a result, the Cambiare 312 KEYCHANGE delivers a realistic playing experience that comes remarkably close to the characteristic touch and response of a real pipe organ. This is particularly valuable for church organists, as it enables them to prepare for instruments with different key weights and touch characteristics.

About the Hauptwerk possibilities

With a Hauptwerk organ, you can bring the sound and acoustics of real churches into your home. In total, you can choose from more than 200 different church organs from around the world. The character of each organ, together with the acoustics of the building in which it is housed, has been sampled with exceptional care by the Hauptwerk software developers. It is a unique concept that enjoys worldwide popularity. With just a few clicks, you can play in St. Lawrence Church in Rotterdam, Utrecht Cathedral, or St Bavo Church in Haarlem. By upgrading from PC C to PC D, you benefit from an even more advanced system, allowing you to get the very best from your organ.

The unique class of Content

The Content Cambiare 312 features two unique functions developed through Content’s own expertise. The “Virtual Player Position”, familiar from Content’s digital organs, is now implemented in an extended form within the Cambiare 312. This allows you to determine precisely where the organist is positioned within the space, or even virtually ‘walk’ through the church interior. Technically, this works as follows: by moving the ‘Position’ slider, the sound is distributed across the various speakers through the Content Audio Protocol, altering the spatial experience at the organ bench.

A second unique feature of the Cambiare 312, available as an optional upgrade, is the addition of orchestral voices. Seven voices, including pan flute, trumpet, piano and strings from Content’s Extravoice sound library, are available within the organ. These voices can be combined with the Hauptwerk software and are easily controlled using the thumb pistons while being played on the upper manual. This allows you, for example, to accompany the Vox Humana of Utrecht with strings, or the pan flute with the Principal stop of the Martinikerk in Groningen.
