Starting with the original model, we look for areas of improvement and opportunities for creative additions. This makes a guitar even more versatile than it already was; perfect for the guitarist who wants more possibilities!
The Fender Player series
The Fender Player II series features the Jazzmaster, Stratocaster, Telecaster, Jazz Bass and Precision Bass. The Telecaster has an ash body and maple fingerboard. The Stratocaster comes in two forms: with ash, maple and rosewood, and as a Stratocaster HSS with mahogany instead of ash. The Jazzmaster is made of alder, maple and rosewood. The Jazz Bass is available in maple and rosewood, and the Precision Bass additionally includes alder. Each model thus has its own tonewood composition, which produces its own sound, and the sound boxes are also shaped differently.
